
Jairo Gonzalez Ward

Jairo Gonzalez Ward is a nonresident fellow with the GeoStrategy Initiative of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. He is the founder and managing partner of Allume Consulting, where he advises governments, investors, and private companies on geopolitical strategy, government affairs, and complex regulatory environments across the energy, defense, and critical infrastructure sectors.
He works with ministries and private sector clients to navigate geopolitical risk and identify strategic opportunities in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He has contributed to defense and security efforts in coordination with US-allied governments and multilateral security initiatives.
He previously advised a firm developing strategic foresight and geoeconomic risk benchmarking tools used by European multinational corporations. He has also worked in energy and industrial government affairs.
He is a delegate to the Australian American Young Leaders Dialogue, participates in the International Council of Sciences Po, and serves on the boards of two foundations focused on advancing arts and education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Jewish studies from the City College of New York and a master’s degree in international security from Sciences Po Paris.
