Kara Succoso Mangone was named a 2020 Millennium Leadership Fellow by the Atlantic Council. Currently, Mangone is head of the Sustainable Finance Group at Goldman Sachs, which advances an integrated approach to sustainability through central coordination of the firm’s policies and the deepening of sustainable finance expertise.
Previously, Mangone was global head of climate strategy, responsible for working with stakeholders throughout Goldman Sachs to deliver on the firm’s climate initiatives. Prior to that, she served as chief operating officer of the Sustainable Finance Group and as a managing director in investor relations, working closely with the firm’s global investor base. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division and was named managing director in 2017.
Mangone earned a BS in English and Finance from Boston College and an executive MBA from Columbia Business School. She serves as a board trustee for Sustainable Princeton.
