Nancy Messieh is deputy director for visual communications with the Cyber Statecraft Initiative, part of the Atlantic Council Tech Programs.

In her role, Messieh focuses on visual storytelling, data visualization, and knowledge management. She previously worked on visual communications and digital production for the Atlantic Council’s engagement team. In these roles, she has worked on projects related to central bank digital currencies, global indexes, gender apartheid in Afghanistan, and the proliferation of spyware.

Messieh graduated from the American University in Cairo with a degree in English and comparative literature.
