Sikina is a Senior Policy Advisor at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where she currently supports international negotiations to expand preclearance and the implementation of emerging technologies. Prior to CBP, Sikina worked as a policy analyst at the Department of Homeland Security, Office of International Affairs covering the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. She has also supported advocacy efforts at Amnesty International USA’s Counterterrorism and Human Rights division.

Sikina has a LL.M. from American University Washington College of Law, a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California Berkeley. She is originally from California and currently lives in Washington, DC.
