Stephanie Mustachi is deputy director at the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center, where she manages both the center’s flagship event—the annual Global Energy Forum—and its programming at the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP).
Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Mustachi spent six years working in the Middle East for one of the region’s largest renewable energy companies. She was responsible for managing the anchor summit of the company’s flagship sustainability gathering along with other event aspects. Mustachi has worked with heads of state and government, international ministers, global executives, and leaders in the climate and energy space. Her career began in communications and public relations with an internship at the World Health Organization in Geneva. She also worked for some of the world’s leading communications agencies in Toronto and the Middle East.
Mustachi graduated from the University of Guelph with a BA in media studies and holds a diploma in public relations from Humber College in Toronto.
