Indo-PacificTricia Yeoh is a 2024 Millennium fellow and is currently chief executive officer of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs Malaysia. Yeoh holds a PhD in political science from the University of Nottingham Malaysia and is a senior adjunct research fellow at Monash University Malaysia, as well as a campus visitor at the Australian National University. Yeoh is a former director of the Centre for Public Policy Studies at the Asia Strategy and Leadership Institute. She previously served as the research officer to the chief minister of the Selangor state government. Yeoh has written and edited several books and journal articles. She directed the award-winning documentary entitled The Rights of the Dead, which was screened in the Al Jazeera International Film Festival. She is a regular media commentator on political and public policy matters in Malaysia. Yeoh is a recipient of the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council’s Female Alumnus of the Year Award.
