Yusuf Jailani

Yusuf Jailani is a 2026–27 Millennium fellow who joined Bridgewater in 2019 and is now co-head of macro equities and head of corporate credit. His work focuses on building and overseeing Bridgewater’s systematic understanding of equity and corporate debt markets, translating macroeconomic dynamics and company fundamentals into durable investment frameworks and portfolios. Less than three years into his Bridgewater tenure, Jailani became head of corporate credit, one of the firm’s youngest leaders to earn this level of promotion. Prior to leading corporate credit, he worked across macro equities and rates, where he focused on global and emerging market capital flows. He is a regular contributor to Bridgewater’s Daily Observations, the firm’s flagship research publication. Jailani also plays a key role in talent development, including overseeing the internship program and leading analytics training for incoming investment associates. He holds a bachelor of arts in applied mathematics, cum laude, from Harvard University.
