Democracy Rebooted: The Future of Technology in Elections Report
Given the number of elections set to occur this year around the world—including the upcoming presidential election in the United States—how we vote will be in the spotlight. We are at a crucial moment to review our policies that influence elections and the technology we use to execute them. A new report launched by the Atlantic Council, authored by former Los Angeles County Registrar and international electoral expert Conny McCormack, includes recommendations for governments and the international community on how to best integrate the inevitable advent of technology in elections.

The complete report and the recommendations are available online: http://publications.atlanticcouncil.org/election-tech/

The report, Democracy Rebooted: The Future of Technology in Elections, has been informed by a series of discussions hosted by the Atlantic Council which have featured leaders in this field including former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, President Toomas Ilves of Estonia, and Google’s Vice President for Public Policy Susan Molinari.
