“If the appraisal drilling supports the initial findings, I think that discovery of this giant natural gas field in Egypt will bring long term benefits to Israel, Turkey, and all the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean,” Micha’el Tanchum, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasian Energy Futures Initiative told Anadolu Agency.
