The Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht – Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center (AARFRC) is hosting an esports event in collaboration with Full Sail University, in support of food drives benefiting under-served communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic: Fight Against Hunger. The first-ever event features celebrity players from the gaming, music, and sports industries, teamed with everyday game enthusiasts.
Join us for this end-of-summer special two-day Call of Duty Pro-Am Charity Stream. Day one, October 3, 2020, will be a 4-hour qualifying round where gaming enthusiasts will compete for the top 10 spots by putting their skills to the test. The top 10 players with the highest scores will move on to the charity stream on day two, October 10, 2020, and we will match them with a celebrity gamer for the final round. Celebrities with a following of over 9 million on social media are scheduled to play including Kansas City Chiefs’ running back and Super Bowl hero Damien Williams, lead singer and guitarist of the band Trivium, Matt Heafy, social media gaming influencer, Drift0r, producer and DJ Excision, producer and DJ Borgore, and electronic music duo Zeds Dead.
100% of your contributions through this page will be donated to well-known food-relief non-profits including Food Rescue US, in partnership with celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster Overtown and World Central Kitchen, and the Foundation for Farmworkers.
