Remarks from President Obama on the Situation in Ukraine

President Obama made remarks on the situation in Ukraine at 11a.m. EDT, Thursday, March 20 from the White House lawn.

In his remarks, President Obama announced a new executive order directing the further expansion of sanctions on key individuals within the Russian elite. The expanded list of sanctions also includes the first entity sanctioned, a Russian bank. The Department of the Treasury released the list below, outlining the additions:
