Shaun Fernando is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium fellow. He is a principal/senior vice president and global strategy leader at AECOM Advisory, an infrastructure consulting firm.
He has advised over eighty governments, investors, and corporations worldwide on building competitive regions by employing market-based strategies, and on unlocking over $370 billion in economic activity through catalytic infrastructure investment. His areas of focus include market transformation and industrial strategy, infrastructure economics, and organizational strategy and transformation.
Prior to joining AECOM, Fernando was a partner at Guidehouse and worked as a management consultant at PwC across their London, Abu Dhabi, and San Francisco offices.
Fernando is based in Los Angeles. He has served on various boards and as a member of Southern California’s Economic Roundtable. Fernando holds degrees in physics and engineering from University College London.
