On March 4, President Obama released his fiscal year 2015 budget request, which included $495.6 billion for the nation’s military. Meanwhile, the Pentagon revealed the 2014 Quadrennial Defense Review, a study completed every four years by the Department of Defense outlining the military’s strategic objectives and what the defense establishments considers as potential military threats.
