Report launch on electrification of the road transportation sector in Europe, and the case of Italy

An in-person discussion and report launch on Italy’s progress in road transportation decarbonization and changes in technology and political environment that enable new progress.

On July 28, the Atlantic Council Turkey Programs and Atlantic Council’s Europe Center organized the launch of a joint report on Electrification of the Road Transportation Sector in Europe, and the Case of Italy, in Milan. The report, authored by Pier Paolo Raimondi, a researcher at the Energy, Climate and Resources program at Instituto Affari Internazionali, assesses Italy’s progress in road transportation electrification and changes in technology and political environment that enable new progress.

The event kicked off with opening remarks by Defne Arslan, Senior Director, Atlantic Council Turkey Programs, and Sinan Ak, CEO, electrip global.
