As voting winds down in Egypt’s second presidential elections in as many years, Jonathan Rashad takes a look back at the days leading up to the presidential elections. With thirteen candidates competing in the 2012 elections, only two presidential candidates are in the running this year, former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Nasserist Hamdeen Sabbahi. With Sisi forecast to win the elections, the focus has instead been on voter turnout.
