Max Neufeind is a participant in the 2025 European Leadership Accelerator hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program. He is head of the division for transformation and public dialogue at the German Federal Chancellery, focusing on the transformation towards a sustainable and digital society.  Previously, he served as deputy head of the division for strategy, digital transformation, and public dialogue at the German Federal Ministry of Finance and as a policy advisor on digitalization and the future of work at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Mannheim. Neufeind is a policy fellow at Das Progressive Zentrum, an associate member of Club of Rome’s Think Tank 30, and a former John F. Kennedy memorial fellow at Harvard University. He has been recognized multiple times as one of Germany’s Top 40 under 40 by Capital.
