Hannah Hunt is a nonresident senior fellow in the Forward Defense program of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. Hunt is also a distinguished technical fellow at MetroStar and trailblazer in the defense and intelligence community. At MetroStar, Hunt focuses on digital transformation and expanding artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.  

Hunt is an expert on government contracting and digital transformation. With over a decade of experience driving citizen-impacting initiatives, she has worked with key US federal agencies, including the Department of State, the Department of Treasury, and the Department of Defense.

Hunt’s leadership and expertise in scaling digital solutions earned her a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in enterprise information technology, recognizing her role in expanding the US Air Force’s Kessel Run from 200 to 1,400 members in eighteen months. Prior to that, she received her master’s degree in international affairs, global governance, politics, and security from American University. She has also led innovation-driven initiatives as chief product and innovation officer at the Army Software Factory, where she championed agile software development and mission-critical technology advancements.
