Rachel Klemmer is the vice president of finance and administration at the Atlantic Council where she oversees finance and accounting, revenue operations, and compliance and administration for grants and contracts.  

Before joining the Atlantic Council, Klemmer was a financial consulting manager at RSM US LLP. She led consulting engagements and served as an outsourced chief financial officer, finance director, and controller for mid-size nonprofit organizations. Prior to that, she worked in finance and accounting roles for international development organizations focused on US Agency for International Development and global health programs.  

Klemmer began her career working in finance and administration for a grassroots nongovernmental organization based in East Africa. She received a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in accounting from Harding University and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Arkansas and the District of Columbia.
