On Tuesday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center will host ABB Chairman Peter R. Voser for a fireside chat.
Against the backdrop of the rapid advancement of electrification and artificial intelligence, global electricity demand is set to expand at the fastest rate in over a decade. At the same time, economic growth and geopolitical leverage are increasingly driven by leadership in advanced manufacturing and high-tech industries. Meanwhile, technology is helping relieve systemic pressures across the global energy sector, meet rising demand, and serve as a catalyst for industrial transformation.
A discussion between Voser and Axios’ Ben Geman will explore how technologies and innovation can help bridge the gap between supply and demand, and spotlight how firms can support energy security imperatives while delivering economic growth and geopolitical goals.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival. For more information, please contact Bailee Mathews at BMathews@atlanticcouncil.org
