On Friday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center will host a discussion examining the roles of Russia and Ukraine in the Iran war.
The military campaign by the US, Israel, and their partners to counter an aggressive Iran in the Middle East has been complicated by reported Russian assistance, including targeting data and drone components that improve the effectiveness of Iranian strikes. The current conflict has also exposed a gap between low-cost drone warfare and Western defenses. Combat in Ukraine has produced practical expertise in countering these threats, and as Moscow increases risks to the US and its partners, Ukrainians are poised to share this knowledge.
Join this hybrid discussion, moderated by Ambassador John Herbst, to discuss the roles of Ukraine, Russia, and drone technology in the war with Iran.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
