
Mark R. Brunner is chief revenue officer at Merlin, where he leads global revenue strategy and growth initiatives for the company’s aviation autonomy business. A national security and technology executive, Brunner has extensive experience working at the intersection of emerging technologies, defense policy, and government innovation.
Previously, Brunner served as executive vice president for public sector at PsiQuantum, where he led the company’s US government and commercial strategy, including government relations, business operations, sales, and customer success. Prior to that, he was president of public sector at Primer AI, where he led the company’s global government business and drove significant growth while securing key government certifications including FedRAMP authorization. Earlier in his career, Brunner was vice president at The Cohen Group and a senior advisor to Senator Mark Warner, where he directed legislative and policy efforts on defense, cybersecurity, and international issues.
Brunner is a retired US Navy Commander and pilot with multiple overseas deployments. He holds a master’s degree in international security affairs from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tulane University.
