On Thursday, May 14 at 8:30 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council will host Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa for an Atlantic Council Front Page conversation on Ecuador’s security priorities, the role of the United States in achieving them, and how countries in the hemisphere can work together to address shared challenges.
Ecuador is on the front lines in the fight against transnational crime, and it has led coordinated security operations to tackle the issue. Those operations also include joint efforts with the United States against narco-terrorist organizations, as Washington places a greater focus on security cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
