The Defense Strategies Institute (DSI) 9th Annual Joint Civil and DOD CBRN Symposium held at the National Harbor on June 8-9, 2021, convened experts from across the government and military to discuss their role in preventing the acquisition, proliferation, and use of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons. Asha M George, the Commission’s Executive Director, participated in a panel discussion focused on Advancing Global Health Security and Biopreparedness.  She shared insights from the Commission’s reports regarding coordinated defense against, and the response to, these biological threats.
