On Wednesday, October 7 at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center and Europe Center will host a conversation featuring members of the Spanish Women’s National Team coaching staff to explore the growing role of women’s football as a platform for international engagement.
Taking place ahead of the two upcoming friendly matches between the Spanish and US women’s national teams on October 10 and 13, this discussion will examine the evolution of the women’s game, the impact of sports on society, and the opportunities for international partnership through sports.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
