Lisa Homel is an associate director of the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center where she supports the center’s work on France, Germany, the Western Balkans, and Central and Eastern Europe.

She is also affiliated with Atlantic Forum as the director of the USA Chapter and the program officer responsible for the NATO Centres of Excellence Engagement Initiative.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, she worked for three years as a consultant for companies in New York City, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia.

Before her consultancy work, Homel was a trainee at the European Parliament, a research intern for the Hudson Institute, an intern with the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, and a fellow at the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights.

Homel is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she received degrees with honors in international studies and international politics with an emphasis in Russian and a minor in European history. She can be followed on Twitter @LisaHomel.
