  • Atlantic Council Headquarters
  • 1400 L Street NW • Floor 11
  • Washington, DC 20005

What will the 2026 US midterms mean for trade, energy, artificial intelligence, and China?

On Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council and FGS Global will host a conversation on the shifting dynamics in Congress and what the election results may mean for global geopolitics.

From geopolitics and energy, to China, global trade, artificial intelligence, and technology, the shifting political environment will reverberate beyond Washington. The elections will shape US foreign policy, influence global trade dynamics, and signal the United States’ global leadership through 2028 and beyond.

Join Atlantic Council and FGS experts to discuss FGS Global’s Alternative Futures framework and what new policies in Washington may mean for governments, businesses, and markets worldwide.

New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.

By registering to attend in-person, you agree to abide by the Atlantic Council’s Event Code of Conduct.
