The Georgian Embassy and the Atlantic Council are delighted to invite you to a reception celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of Georgian Parliamentarism on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Rayburn House Office Building Foyer. The event will feature world-acclaimed Georgian wine and appetizers.
The reception will celebrate the developments that took place in Georgia in February 1919, when Georgia held its first universal, democratic, and multi-party parliamentary elections. The reception will also feature the joint project by The New York Times and the Georgian publishing house “Sakhelebi” titled “Turning Points” – a reflection on the centennial history of Georgia-US people-to-people exchanges.
The event will bring together congressional staffers and a community of experts to enhance the strategic dialogue between Georgia and the United States and further bolster the cross-cultural connections.
We hope to see you there.
