On Wednesday, July 22, at 4:00 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center will host a high-level conversation to launch a new flagship report, “Mapping US investment in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
The discussion will feature senior US officials, regional ambassadors, and executives from leading US investors in Latin America and the Caribbean. They will draw on the report’s original data analysis to examine where US investment has flowed across the region over the past two decades; that investment’s impact on jobs, innovation, and supply chains; how the US footprint compares to that of strategic competitors; and what it will take to expand US investment across the hemisphere.
This event builds on the center’s ongoing work to strengthen US economic engagement in the Western Hemisphere and will set the stage for upcoming programming on the subject in 2026 and 2027.
