The Atlantic Council hosts an in-person event with Global Affairs Canada Assistant Deputy Minister of the Americas Glen Linder to address Haiti’s growing humanitarian crisis.

Haiti’s growing political, security, and humanitarian crisis is grabbing international headlines. Government leaders and Haitian stakeholders have issued a call to action: Haiti cannot be ignored without risking the country falling into failed state status. Prime Minister Ariel Henry’s impending resignation—after a transitional presidential council is created—has opened the door for a path forward. Stakeholders across the international and regional community will need to come together to ensure that commitments and potential solutions go from idea to action.

Please join the Caribbean Initiative at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center on Thursday, March 21, at 12:00 p.m. ET for an in-person conversation with Global Affairs Canada Assistant Deputy Minister of the Americas Glen Linder on the international community’s plans to support a way forward for Haiti.
