The Atlantic Council’s Women Innovators (WIn) Fellowship will host its third event for the Jordan cohort on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. ET (6:00 p.m. Amman time).

This event, the third of four workshops organized for the WIn Fellowship’s Jordan cohort, will aim to explore how startups are successfully positioning the country as an innovation-driven economy and contributing to the growth of the region’s impact-driven businesses. Experts will discuss how impactful the innovation ecosystem in Jordan is and how the government aims to harness innovation to achieve sustainable growth in the technology sector and across key industries including healthcare, water preservation, fintech, education, and social welfare.

The event will also cover how universities, incubators, and accelerators in Jordan are supporting impact-driven startups’ research and development and global scalability. Additionally, it will explore how international cooperation, in both the private and public sectors, could encourage knowledge exchange and place Jordan’s impact-driven startups on the international funding stage.

During the event, we will cover important questions and discuss the future of impact-driven entrepreneurship and innovation in Jordan.

The event will be held in person in Amman and will also be livestreamed. If you would like to attend in person, please email ndabboussi@atlanticcouncil.org

The WIn Fellowship’s Jordan cohort is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State (U.S. Embassy in Amman).
