Since H.E. Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa was elected President of the Republic of South Africa earlier this year, his administration has spearheaded an aggressive agenda to attract investment, strengthen bilateral relationships, and tackle the country’s “triple challenge” of unemployment, poverty, and inequality. In his first 100 days, President Ramaphosa has taken steps to create an enabling environment for greater investment, with the target of garnering $100 billion in new investments over the next five years.

Please join the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center on Friday, July 13, for an exclusive conversation with South African Minister of Trade and Industry, the Hon. Dr. Rob Davies, on his vision for the US-South Africa commercial relationship moving forward and his policy priorities for the economy, including inclusive growth and job creation, as well as regional integration.
