Please join the Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center and the Global Energy Center on Friday, September 29 for the launch of the Atlantic Council’s latest issue brief, The New Russia Sanctions Law: What it Does and How to Make It Work by Ambassador Daniel Fried (Ret.) and Brian O’ Toole.

The Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act of 2017 (HR 3364) was signed on August 2, 2017. Prior to signing, the bill swiftly passed the House and Senate –with huge margins – because of bipartisan support for its Russia sanctions provisions. Expert panelists will discuss the nuts and bolts of the sanctions and strategies and steps for effective implementation of the law’s provisions.
