Please join the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative, part of the ACTech Programs, for a panel discussion focusing on transitioning veterans who are looking to pursue careers in cybersecurity. The session will take place on Friday, November 8th, from 11:00am to 12:30 pm ET and will include a group of speakers from a variety of backgrounds who will discuss the military-to-civilian workforce transition, highlight useful programs, best practices, and potential challenges. The event will also allow time for an audience question and answer period.

Before the panel, Ambassador Nathaniel Fick, US Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy, will deliver pre-recorded remarks to address the importance of preparing to transition out of the armed services and to the private sector. He will also touch on the opportunities in cyber policy for service men and women across the spectrum of education.

The panel discussion will feature Lindsay Knight, Chief Impact Officer at Blue Star Families; Matt Noyes, Cyber Policy and Strategy Director at the US Secret Service; Katherine Hutton, Fellow, Atlantic Council Veterans Advanced Energy Project; and Joe Wallis, Director, Military Engagement and Military Affairs at Microsoft. The panel will be moderated by Al Hanson, Assistant Director, Cyber Statecraft Initiative, Atlantic Council.
