Elected Representative for Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Cypriot Community

On March 10, the Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center hosted an invite-only, off-the-record discussion with the Elected Representative for Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Cypriot Community, Ozdil Nami.

Mr. Nami discussed the island’s ongoing settlement negotiations and Turkish Cypriot economic development as well as details of the recent joint statement, possible roadblocks to a comprehensive agreement, and the role of hydrocarbons in the reunification process.
