Alexander David Gul is a 2026–27 Millennium fellow and a global executive in the diamonds and luxury value chain, with experience spanning operations, strategy, governance, and alternative investments. He serves as chief operating officer at A.Gul KG, a European diamond company, and has been active across key producing and trading markets. Gul is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council Standards Committee and contributes to the World Diamond Council’s Kimberley Process Task Force, participating in expert missions and review processes related to responsible sourcing and governance. His work focuses on bridging policy, standards, and commercial realities within complex global supply chains. He holds an MBA, graduating summa cum laude, and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. He also participates in Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program and has completed executive education at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Gul brings a pragmatic, globally informed perspective to transparency, sustainability, and industry transformation.
