Amy Armbrust was a nonresident fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative and a software engineer working at Microsoft, specializing in secure systems development. Her responsibilities include designing reliable software, providing security expertise across the Windows organization and driving organizational security strategy. Prior to Microsoft, Amy worked as a research fellow at the George Washington University where she worked on safety-critical embedded systems. Throughout her career she has brought a passion for innovation and policy to every challenge she’s faced, looking to apply cross-domain knowledge in every situation.
