Aria Mahdion is a Millennium fellow at the Atlantic Council and the regional director, strategic development, for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) leading activities in both Canada and areas of Europe. He has spent his career at GA-ASI working on key programs, campaigns, and future initiatives. In his current role, Mahdion is responsible for generating global opportunities for GA-ASI and capturing new business. This includes setting conditions that facilitate favorable business environments, building and maintaining global partnerships and executing future growth objectives. Previously, Mahdion was responsible for the development, testing, and validation of system flight data and procedures supporting domestic customers, gaining a comprehensive understanding of remotely piloted aircraft system architecture and operations. He has also supported domestic and international capture campaigns. Mahdion graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and currently resides in San Diego, California.
