Gargi Sharma is a participant in the 2024 Executive Leadership Intensive and a senior investment manager specializing in fixed income investment management and sustainability at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Before joining the Club in 2017, she honed her expertise in business strategy and development at HSBC and J.P. Morgan Chase, serving global institutional clients across various asset classes. Gargi holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree in business administration (with a psychology minor) from the City University of Hong Kong, where she graduated as valedictorian. Deeply committed to environmental issues, she is a certified sustainability and climate risk professional and a financial risk manager. She has been a member of Mensa International since the age of twelve. Born and raised in India, Gargi has lived in Hong Kong for more than a decade and considers it her second home. She has also briefly lived in Beijing, Montreal, and Singapore.
