Economy & BusinessIsadora Arredondo is a 2026–27 Millennium fellow and vice president of global policy at Hedera. In this role, she leads global advocacy and builds relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to support the resilient and scalable growth of distributed ledger technologies across financial services. She also contributes to teaching programs focused on digital finance, distributed market infrastructure, and regulatory policy. Prior to Hedera, Arredondo advised global institutions across retail banking, payments, and digital assets, helping firms navigate evolving regulatory and policy frameworks in the EU and UK. She previously served as policy advisor at the UK Financial Conduct Authority, contributing to conduct and prudential policy development spanning payments, digital assets, and investment firms, and collaborating with the Bank of England, the UK Payment Systems Regulator, and policymakers on the UK’s post-Brexit financial services strategy. Arredondo began her career in consulting, working with organizations including the OECD and the Economist Intelligence Unit, where she managed global thought leadership projects across the EU, MENA, the US, and Latin America. She holds a master of science in politics and communications from the London School of Economics and an MBA-accredited degree from Imperial College Business School. She is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian, and French, and is currently learning German.
