Jérémie Gallon is a nonresident senior fellow for the Future Europe Initiative at the Atlantic Council. He specializes in France, the European Union, and transatlantic affairs.

Jérémie Gallon is Managing Director of Amcham France.

Prior to joining Amcham France, Jérémie was senior political advisor to the Ambassador of the EU to the United States. In this position, he covered UN affairs, multilateral and global governance affairs, migration issues, and international human rights.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Gallon was a lawyer at Davis Polk & Wardwell where he developed a practice in public and private mergers and acquisitions, as well as related litigation. Mr. Gallon worked on numerous transactions in the defense and energy sectors, in particular as legal counsel to the French State. Most recently, Mr. Gallon worked for the World Bank in Serbia.

In his previous positions, Mr. Gallon worked as research assistant to the former EU Trade Commissioner Mr. Karel de Gucht at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. He was also involved in the coordination of the B20 and the L20, the international business and labour summits held for the first time in parallel in Cannes during the G20 French Presidency.

Mr. Gallon regularly publishes op-eds in French top-tier media such as Le Figaro or L’Obs.

Mr. Gallon graduated from Harvard Law School (LLM), University Paris I Pantheon-La Sorbonne (JD), and earned his MA from HEC Paris. He is also a former student of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in Beijing, China. He is a member of the Paris Bar.
