Ji-Ting Chen

Ji-Ting Chen is a visiting fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Democracy and Governance program at Georgetown University. Originally from Taiwan, his academic interests include international political economy and political psychology, with a regional focus on the Asia-Pacific.

Chen’s earlier research focused on international political economy and regional security dynamics in East Asia, with particular attention to the Taiwan–China–United States strategic triangle and the hedging strategies adopted by East Asian countries amid intensifying US–China competition.

Chen earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
