Europe & EurasiaJules Burgo-Küntzmann is a visiting fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center. With a background in public law, Burgo-Küntzmann is currently pursuing a master of public administration at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His areas of expertise include European defense policy, public international law, development economics, and comparative legal systems.
Previously, Burgo-Küntzmann interned at the French Ministry of Armed Forces, focusing on the financing of European defense programs. He also worked with a development nongovernmental organization in Madagascar.
He holds an LLB from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, where he also earned the Collège de droit diploma, a selective additional degree awarded to top students. He completed an exchange at Duke Law School, where he received a dean’s award in distinctive aspects of US law. Burgo-Küntzmann is a native French speaker and fluent in English.
