Kornel Koronowski is a 2023 Millenium fellow and a head of origination Poland at Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. With over a decade of experience in the energy and natural resources sector, he is passionate about contributing to a more sustainable future by accelerating Poland’s energy transition.

Koronowski specializes in structuring and negotiating green-power supply contracts, developing energy strategies for industrial companies, managing regulatory affairs, and trading electricity, natural gas, and environmental products. He is also a social entrepreneur focused on education and civic engagement, cofounding and advising several nongovernmental organizations and serving at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. Koronowski holds a Master of Laws and double bachelor’s degrees from the University of Warsaw, and he studied at Sciences Po Paris.
