Lingxiu Zhang is a participant in the 2023 Climate Leadership Program of the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program and co-founder and partner of Roselake Ventures, where he invests in early-stage companies in Africa and China since 2020. His investments span sectors such as climate tech, fintech, and e-commerce, with coverage across Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, and Pakistan. Zhang also serves as a director of the China Mergers & Acquisitions Association and an executive member of the China Impact Investing Network.

Zhang possesses nearly a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate strategic management. He has worked in prominent investment banks, financial sponsors, and fintech companies throughout China and Africa, including Morgan Stanley and Hosen Capital. Zhang received a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in economics from Yale University. He holds Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations.
