Ville Korpela is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center. He is also an advisor for Princeville Capital—a venture capital firm—and a regular contributor on geopolitical developments and emerging technologies for publications such as the National Interest, Jerusalem Post, Politico Europe, and Arabian Business. He is an expert in public policy, emerging markets, and investment promotion; he also has a passion for promoting economic freedom and prosperity through investment and entrepreneurship.
Prior to entering the venture capital sector, he spent two years as a senior consultant responsible for emerging technologies at the Dubai Future Academy, the capacity building arm of the Dubai Future Foundation. He has experience working in both government and private sectors as well as think tank entrepreneurship, having set up his own nonprofit institute in Finland that has worked with development finance institutions such as the African Development Bank and UN Capital Development Fund.
