On September 25, IPSI nonresident senior fellow Peter Dean spoke with Sky News Australia about the Australian Defence Force’s difficulties with recruitment and retention. He explained, “There’s a large number of very big Defence Department projects going on…Combine that with the fact that the numbers in the public service…are actually going backwards, and what we’re seeing is some real difficulty in the recruitment and retention area.”
