On January 22, Dexter Tiff Roberts was featured in Dagens Industri, one of the leading financial newspapers in Sweden, on the negative aspects of China’s industrial policy. Roberts argued that “Beijing’s crackdown on major technology companies, as well as plans to make the country self-sufficient in high technology, threaten to kill the country’s entrepreneurial spirit and innovative power,” which discourages educated Chinese engineers from joining China’s tech firms.
