Nurkin’s Deftech Scan report in Armasuisse

By Atlantic Council

On April 12, Forward Defense Nonresident Senior Fellow Tate Nurkin published the latest issue of Deftech Scan. Published by Armasuisse (the Swiss Federal Office for Defense Procurement), Deftech Scan is a publication intended to give an overview of new technologies and capabilities in the defense sector. In the March 2021 edition, Nurkin and co-author Dr. Quentin Ladetto highlight the effects of COVID-19 on the development of new military capabilities.

Forward Defense leads the Atlantic Council’s US and global defense programming, developing actionable recommendations for the United States and its allies and partners to compete, innovate, and navigate the rapidly evolving character of warfare. Through its work on US defense policy and force design, the military applications of advanced technology, space security, strategic deterrence, and defense industrial revitalization, it informs the strategies, policies, and capabilities that the United States will need to deter, and, if necessary, prevail in major-power conflict.
