Forward Defense nonresident senior fellow Nicholas Eftimiades was interviewed by the Express on June 12. Eftimiades, a retired US intelligence officer, warned that the United Kingdom’s lack of strict technology export control laws allows British technology to fall into the hands of China.
“[I]n the United States we have the international trafficking arms regulation, we have ITAR. We have export enforcement regulations… The UK not so much so.”
