Arvid Bell is a 2024 Millennium fellow and the chief executive officer and co-founder of Anadyr Horizon, a venture-backed technology company that builds predictive simulations to anticipate geopolitical escalation and prevent strategic surprise.

A pioneer in negotiation systems design and crisis decision-making modeling, he previously founded and led the Negotiation Task Force, delivering advisory and research and development services across defense, finance, and diplomacy. Bell has worked with corporate executives, political leaders, and special forces operators across the United States, Europe, and geopolitical hotspots including Afghanistan, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Previously, he served as a lecturer on government at Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, where he was awarded the Certificate of Teaching Excellence.
